EASY OPEN & AUTO LOCKING!
This lock is just like the 2230-Latchbolt Lock, except that it has lever handles and a passage mode function.
This lock has a Passage Function so it can remain in the unlocked position, if you prefer. This makes it ideal for an office environment where the door should remain unlocked during business hours, but locked after hours. For added security, you will need to know the code to use this function. Simply just enter the code followed by the Y on the keypad, this will enable or disable the Passage Function.
The latchbolt is set in the hole in the door where the deadbolt normally goes, so this lock installs and operates very much like a standard deadbolt lock. However, the latchbolt head also contains a burglar-proof plunger for added safety.

Setting your Secret Code
Please note this lock is shipped with 5 red (code) and 9 blue (non-code) tumblers. This allows for a 5 digit code. If you would like to use more or less letter/numbers, please add PT05 Tumblers to your cart.
Custom Codes
Want us to set your initial secret code? No problem! Simply select the "Custom" option under the Initial Secret Code section
below and enter your desired custom code (no repeating digits) in the text box. Your code can be anywhere between 3 and 5 digits.
Lock Features
- This lock is a latchbolt lock, which means it locks automatically when the door is shut.
- Comes with a Passage Function so it can remain in the unlock position, but still latch. If you do not want this feature, it can be disabled by simply removing the R button tumbler when the lock is removed from the door.
- We offer a special Teflon finish, Marine Grade, which protects your lock from harsh salt water environments.
- This lock can be used on doors from 1-3/16" to 2" thick.

- Comes with a 2 3/4"
or 2 3/8"
backset. If you are planning to use this lock with our PT01 Lockey Gate Box, be sure to order the 2-3/8" latchbolt.

Locking and Unlocking
Using all our keyless digital locks is quick and easy. This particular lock does not have a thumb turn on the inside -- instead it has a lever handle to open the door.
- To unlock from the outside, simply type in your secret code on the keypad and push the lever handle down to retract the latchbolt and open the door.
- On the inside, just push the lever handle down. It couldn't be easier!
Since this lock has a latchbolt it will automatically lock when the door is closed unless you have enabled the Passage Function.

Additional Notes
- If you are going to install this lock underneath an existing deadbolt, you will need at least 3-5/8 inches from the bottom of the deadbolt down to the top of the large hole for this lock.
- If you are going to install this lock above an existing deadbolt, you will need at least 3-5/8 inches from the bottom of the deadbolt down to the top of the large hole for this lock.
- The bore hole should be between 1 inch to 2-1/8 inches.
