Locking and Unlocking
This particular lock has a lever handle and, as with all our keyless digital locks, it is easy to operate:

To unlock from the outside, simply type in your secret code on the keypad and turn the knob handle to open the door.

On the inside, just push the panic bar. It couldn't be easier!
This lock can be equipped with an easy-grab handle, which is mounted between the lock and the door. Just add a PT33 Push/Pull Handle to your order before you check out. This easy-to-grasp finger-pull metal surface can be used to open/close the door in place of round knob. It also attractively and economically covers pre-existing holes, dents, and gouges in a door.

Additional Notes:

If you are going to install this lock underneath an existing deadbolt, you will need at least 4 inches from the bottom of the deadbolt down to the top of the large hole for this lock.

If you are going to install this lock above an existing deadbolt, you will need at least 4 inches from the bottom of the deadbolt down to the top of the large hole for this lock.

The bore hole should be between 1 inch to 2-1/8 inches.
