They can be installed on any hinged door or cabinet that is thick enough to accommodate the deadbolt which moves in/out through a hole in the door when it is locked or unlocked.

Installation
Locking and Unlocking
From the outside, it can be unlocked by key or by a user code. From the inside, simply turn the thumb piece. To lock the door, use the key or press the "E-Digital" button on the keypad on the outside. From the inside, simply turn the thumbpiece.
This lock comes with a special Auto-Locking Function. When enabled, the lock will lock itself within 10-99 seconds after shutting the door. Unlock as normal. This function must be programmed and can be activated or deactivated at any time.
