The Lockey MAX-Guard Gate Panic Bar Shield is designed to be mounted on the inside of a gate that has a panic bar (aka crash bar or push-to-open bar) over the panic bar. The push bar hardware prevents someone from reaching over or through a gate from the outside and pressing the panic bar to open the gate.
