Lockey Thin Door Kit for Surface-Mounted Locks

The Lockey Thin Door Lock Kit makes it possible to install surface-mounted locks (C Series, M220, 2200, 2500) on doors that are between 1/4" to 1-1/8" thick. This won't work for deadbolt and latchbolt locks which are inserted into the edge of a door because the bolts are too thick—almost ¾ thick.

The first few numbers of a lock model number determines the lock series. For example, a 2200 lock would be part of the 2000-Series. Each Series may include single and double-sided locks.

Additional Information

When you order a thin door kit, you will get a set of M5 screws along with an instruction sheet. It will explain how to remove the hex bolts from the lock body and use the M5 screws instead.
Thin door kits are only used for surface mounted locks with a slide bar or hook bolt because deadbolt and latch bolt locks require a thicker door.
